Privacy Notice

Nobody needs an account to watch clips on BJJ Drills. Below is a plain account of the data the site does handle.

Visit statistics

When a page loads, our server notes the page, the time, any search you ran, your browser's name and version, the site that sent you and your rough location at country level. Instead of your IP address we keep a one-way code derived from it, and the recipe for that code changes daily, so it cannot follow you from one day to the next.

These figures tell us which positions and techniques people come for, which searches come up empty, and which traffic is automated. Search history is purged once it is twelve months old.

Google Analytics

We also run Google Analytics, which uses its own cookies to measure things like time on site and the kind of device you use. Google handles that data under its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy, and its opt-out add-on is at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Other cookies

• ref: lasts 30 days, and is only created if a partner site's link brought you here, so we can credit that partner.
• Cloudflare may add a cookie of its own to separate real browsers from bots.

There are no ad networks on this site, and visitor data is never sold.

Who else is involved

• Cloudflare sits in front of the site for speed and protection, so your connection passes through it.
• DigitalOcean provides the servers the site and clips run on.
• Google Analytics, described above.

Messages you send

Emails to us are kept only as long as it takes to sort out whatever they are about.
